backtrack; The wizard of Oz (1939)

Certain movies are so evidently classic they more or less defy reviewing. This literally wonderful saga of moral travel through a world of dreams is spectacular in vision and song, gripping, intelligent, funny, and at times even slightly scary – at least for its intended audience of children.

It doesn’t matter that several details feels horrendously passé, this one stays in my book.
