Dawn of the dead (1978)

»When there’s no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth«. George A Romero’s biblical judgement on our sick society is rather condemning, to say the least.

The crude 70s effects, swaying tempo and uneven B movie acting may not always be fully convincing, though they sometimes give an extra gruesome edge to the ever intriguing moral implications of this gross, wildly shifting story. In my book.
