A reluctant traveller through life loses almost everything. Impressively characterized with dead gaze and awkward body language, he slowly begins to question the roles and patterns of life. 

Some kind of comedy, built on a very tragic foundation of loss and control. In my book.

  1. Wow, did we have a different reaction to this one. I can’t imagine why this film ever made it into the book in the first place. Perhaps I’ve reached my limit of wanting to spend time with "wacky" film characters like Macon’s sister…and girlfriend…and brothers…

    You didn’t like Kasdan’s other movies either, did you? I agree that Geena Davis is too much, but I am impressed by William Hurt – he seems so truly lost and miserable.
