Shock corridor (1963)

Exploding instantly into frenzied conflict, this thoroughly contrived and overdone analysis of sanity and society has so many dated and silly aspects it verges on parody. Twisted and ruthless careerhunger, dangerous sexuality, contagious craziness, symbolism – almost everything is rather shallow and predictable.

Some credit for sheer energy and partly experimental approach, but not enough for my book.
