Loulou (1980)

For several reasons, some never fully understood by anyone, a »decent« middle-class woman leaves her own safe circles to plunge headlong into a strange and strained relationship with a lazy, unreliable drunkard. An absurd love triangle is formed, including the spurned husband.

The sleazy white trash world of carefree sex, sloppy bars and petty crime is enhanced by the unglamorous late 70s look. In my book despite several irritating obscurities, among them a fitting but rather unsatisfying ending.
