Cat people (1942)

Half-hidden, repressed emotions are destined to burst into ferocious animal insanity in this modern-age gothic romance of irrational, semi-conscious urges growing from uncertainty, fear, and jealousy.

Uncomplicated and not particularly scary, but filled with dark, dreamy mystery and shimmering, poetic sadness. Maybe in my book.

I’m disagreeing with you on this one. I find this film to be atmospheric and disturbing in a real way. I love every frame.

To disagree is ok, but I don’t think we are really that far apart. I am positive, you perhaps even more so!
