The wrong man (1956)

A true story, stranger than all fiction, Hitchcock himself tells us at the beginning. I don’t fully agree – this is a carefully made, well acted, unpretentious, and very sympathetic little low-key movie – but it is also unusually slow and devoid of drama.

Should probably have been shorter. Maybe in my book of guilt.
