The unbelievable truth (1989)

»What’s the last word?«
»I don’t know. Faith, maybe.«
»Which one, faith or maybe?«

Ex-convict meets schoolgirl in this kitchen sink apocalyptica of weird and wonderful dialogue, quirky and lovable characters, sad and neurotic undercurrents.

Shallow or profound? Hard to say, but delightful it is. In my book of destructive yet well-meaning loonies.

»People are only as good as the deals they make. And keep.«
