backtrack; Die hard (1988)

Propelling cocky, energetic, durable Bruce Willis to well-deserved actionsuperstardom, this is a shamelessly entertaining late eighties fightfest – with a slightly »complicated« love story tossed in to make matters even more serious.

Tons of tough one-liners and impeccably executed excitement. Plus, I like heroes that can take some severe beating – at which Willis excels! Far from politically correct, but in my book of taut thrills.

Still my favorite Christmas movie ever.

  2. Earlier I haven’t even really thought about it as a christmas movie per se – but it is, of course!
