backtrack; High plains drifter (1972)

high

Bordering on both horror and surrealism, this is one of the most bizarre and deranged vengeance westerns I’ve seen. Clint Eastwood is his usual merciless, coldhearted stoneface, though – both as main character and as director.

Very strange, and with its fair share of unsympathetic details. In my book of red.
