backtrack; Meet the parents (2000)

A comedy consisting mainly of awkwardness and shame, very convincingly delivered in a kind of classic crazy vein.

Building its escalating mishaps on rather outdated premises, this still became a success with critics as well as audiences worldwide – and was followed by a couple of sequels. In my book of cultural and characterial differences.
