Ofelaš (1987)

»No man can ever tear himself apart from the whole«

Silent, black-clad, dangerous strangers. The deep wisdom and almost supernatural powers of »exotic« natives. Sacrifice and revenge as driving forces. The first sami feature film ever is a clumsy and cruel arctic western where the innocent are forced to take a brave but seemingly hopeless stand against overwhelming evil.

The usual predictable story in rather unusual settings – the winter landscapes are almost unbelievably scenic! Still not in my book.
