backtrack; Beverly Hills cop (1984)

bhc

I’ve seldom – if ever – seen Eddie Murphy better than as Axel Foley, the fast-talking, smart-alecky, rule-ignoring, ever-irritating Detroit cop mocking LA shallowness.

This is one of the movies that define the eighties. In my book of dated fun, though with an unpalatable amount of killings.
