…‪Μέχρι το πλοίο‬ (1967)

»We are all sinners« – lamentation or excuse?

A raki-guzzling loner on his way to leave for Australia meets – by designation or chance – with a series of strange people in strained relationships where alcohol and animalistic women fuels conflicts. Poverty, immigration, and patriarchy are themes touched upon in this dismal use and abuse study of failing societal structures.

Dark, heavy brooding spiced with illogical absurdities and a little decency. Simple, but still disjointed and incoherent – not in my book of smoldering desires, world-weariness, and fleeting hope.
