backtrack; Glengarry Glen Ross (1992)

glen

Failure and self-loathing tackled with superb script, excellent execution, and awesome acting. This is a claustrophobic and engaging elegy for a bunch of aging salesmen stuck in the sordid, depressing rat race of commercialism.

Sad, funny, foul-mouthed. In my book of theatre plays made into movies.

  1. SJHoneywell says:

Put that coffee down! Coffee is for closers!

Never has there been a better or more brutal cameo.

  2. It is a very cruel movie in many ways.
