backtrack; Unforgiven (1992)

unforgiven

In Clint Eastwood’s final western, the aging and initially unwilling hero is pushed back into a life of violence and revenge. Yes, you’ve probably seen it before, though maybe not quite like this.

Admirable, interesting, strong – yet still more cliché-ridden than necessary. In my book of simultaneously criticizing and embracing the western mythos.
