backtrack; Schindler’s list (1993)


Though initially very doubtful of the »inspired by a nonfiction novel« concept, I must still admit that this is a powerful and fascinating display of gradually evolving heroism.

Both restrained and Hollywoodish, easily securing its place in my book of holocaustian and humanitarian history. The famous color details are a bit too gimmicky, though.
