Käpy selän alla (1966)

Modern teenagers from Helsinki – one restless, one innocent, one foolish, one ambivalent – goes frolicking in the countryside on an aimless summer excursion of fun, froth, and freedom. Lust, Koskenkorva, and pop music create confusion and undermine relations.

Voyeuristic nudity, unexpected bursts of song and dance, snakes in paradise. A charming sign of the times, but not in my book of youth.
