Jean-Luc Godard’s first feature film is surprisingly delicate, but several of his trademarks are already in place – the european/american dichotomy, the vague crime flick structure, the hopeless love story.

Innovative, interesting, irreverent, irritating. In my book of jump-cuts and dialogue.
