Πέτρινα χρόνια [Stone years] (1985)
In hiding or in prison, people are always longing for a better life. Fluidly chronicling the uneven struggles of a clandestine leftist movement under rightwing oppression, this is a very softspoken and subdued experience. Supposedly based on true events, though a trifle hard to believe sometimes.
Harsh, strong, enduring revolutionary romanticism. Too slow for my book of love and politics.
