King Klunk (1933)

kingklunk

Pooch the Pup tries to cash in on the King Kong Kraze! The fluidity of movement, visual inventiveness, and all around jolly mood are both inspiring and refreshing, as so often in vintage animated cartoons.

The first Kong parody and a minor gem, though not in my book of giant apes.
