The whole Dam family and the Dam dog (1905)

Quaint example of early 1900s comedy, based on funny postcards (!) and just as paper thin. The introduction takes up far more than half of the (short) running time and is really boring – though almost beautiful in a grotesquely crude way. The remainders are even more devoid of anything even remotely humorous.

A mystery to this contemporary spectator. Not in my book of bizarre families.
